About the role
- Build IIX’s corporate-facing advisory business across South and Southeast Asia in partnership with Head of Advisory
- Engage with major corporates, regional conglomerates, and financial institutions to embed ESG strategies, impact measurement, and sustainability-linked finance solutions
- Manage end-to-end delivery of client projects including ESG diagnostics, impact frameworks, and sustainability-linked financing strategies
- Lead or co-lead proposal development, pitches, and scoping of advisory mandates
- Support Orange Bond readiness, integrate Orange Seal supplier certification, and work on pre- and post-issuance monitoring
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Associates and Analysts and support team capacity building
Requirements
- 8 to 12+ years of leadership experience in ESG advisory, sustainability consulting, impact finance, or corporate sustainability strategy
- Deep experience working with corporates and/or financial institutions in South and Southeast Asia
- Expertise in ESG regulation, supply chain sustainability, climate finance, blended finance, or sustainability-linked bonds
- Strong capital markets understanding, with a proven ability to integrate gender-lens investing and ESG principles into financial solutions
- Excellent leadership, client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Master’s degree in sustainability, finance, economics, public policy, or a related discipline
