About the role
- You analyze customer needs, identify relevant requirements and translate them into a clear product roadmap.
- You work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and market needs.
- You run continuous product discovery — through structured customer interviews, Jobs-to-be-Done analyses and rapid prototyping cycles — to eliminate risks early before we build.
- You define, prioritize and deliver features that make property management easier and provide real value.
- You manage the entire product lifecycle — from writing user stories through implementation to launching new features.
- You are responsible for measurable product goals within your module areas and use data and user feedback to continuously learn and validate product decisions.
- You collaborate closely with engineering and design to deliver user-friendly, high-performance and compliant solutions.
- You partner with subject-matter experts to ensure best practices and compliance requirements are met.
- You align with Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to plan, coordinate and track releases.
- You analyze key KPIs and user feedback to continuously improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Degree (e.g., Business, Computer Science) or equivalent qualification — ideally with further training or experience in accounting/tax.
- Several years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a SaaS environment.
- Understanding of processes in German property management — either from personal experience as a landlord or from practical work in a property management company.
- You know the typical operational workflows from practice: rent posting, dunning and rent management, operating and heating cost accounting (BKA including heating cost statements according to HKVO), DATEV interfaces and document handling, as well as the relevant legal framework.
- Analytical strength, a structured way of working and a knack for excellent user experiences.
- Strong communication skills, team orientation and a hands-on mentality.
- Confident use of modern PM tools: Product Analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude), Prototyping & Research (e.g., Figma, Google AI Studio), and AI-assisted workflows (Claude Code, etc.).
- A good sense of design principles and usability — hands-on design experience is a plus.
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
Benefits
- Responsibility and impact: You take ownership of important product areas and are given the freedom to act independently to create real value for our users.
- Hybrid work: Flexible combination of office and home office.
- A strong team: Colleagues who take responsibility and share know-how.
- 30 days of annual leave + fair compensation.
- Regular team events & genuine camaraderie: No mandatory events, but real engagement.
