About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation with USCIS, DOL, and immigration courts
- Manage and maintain client case files, deadlines, and docket calendars to ensure timely filings
- Conduct client interviews and gather necessary information to support case preparation
- Draft legal correspondence, cover letters, and client communications under attorney supervision
- Research immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates to support case strategy
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegals and support staff
- Coordinate with government agencies, courts, and third parties on case-related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in immigration law
- Strong knowledge of USCIS forms, immigration procedures, and removal defense
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority cases simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Paralegal certificate or relevant college degree preferred
