Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation with USCIS, DOL, and immigration courts
Manage and maintain client case files, deadlines, and docket calendars to ensure timely filings
Conduct client interviews and gather necessary information to support case preparation
Draft legal correspondence, cover letters, and client communications under attorney supervision
Research immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates to support case strategy
Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegals and support staff
Coordinate with government agencies, courts, and third parties on case-related matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in immigration law
Strong knowledge of USCIS forms, immigration procedures, and removal defense
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority cases simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Paralegal certificate or relevant college degree preferred
