About the role
- Represent individuals in Immigration Court and Family courts for special immigrant juvenile findings
- Prepare clients for interviews before USCIS, DOS, and Asylum Office
- Provide direct legal representation to clients seeking affirmative and defensive relief
- Manage follow-up with potential clients' post-intake and evaluate eligibility for legal relief
- Train and supervise support staff on legal matters
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to the bar of any U.S. state
- VA bar is a plus
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in immigration law
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and oral is a plus
