Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
  • Master’s Degree (MS) required
  • Knowledge of design techniques and standards for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
  • Knowledge of structural systems for buildings and structures
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of structural mechanics and materials principles
  • Knowledge of industry-standard engineering software and tools, including structural analysis and design software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Basic knowledge of BIM software
  • Clear oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays
  • Prior experience is not listed
  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering preferred
  • Prior internship experience in building design consulting preferred
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred
