About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects across all disciplines
  • Serve as a main point of contact for BIM-related questions and concerns for the project team
  • Work within project budgets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations
  • Review the effectiveness of current standards and procedures and validate compliance
  • Lead and participate in project meetings with clients and consultants
  • Identify and lead team-specific training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools
  • Standardize workflows and practices across offices and teams
  • Coordinate with the project manager on model setup configuration and project scope requirements
  • Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between IMEG disciplines and external partners
  • Provide team-specific support for Virtual Design software and programs
  • Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards
  • Maintain models using best practices and established standards
  • Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process
  • Ensure modeling and drawing production meet established company quality standards
  • Coordinate models and workflow between members of the design team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred
  • 4 years of experience minimum, 5 preferred, or equivalent
  • Revit experience required
  • Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management
  • Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
