About the role
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of related facilities
- Assist in consulting services on building design with clients
- Provide recommendations using risk management principles
- Interact and coordinate activities with the field offices
- Assist with reviewing modifications to existing facilities
- Conduct policy research and make recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree, or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience minimum required, 2 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
- Experience and certifications with FEMA and Homeland Security in the areas of Emergency Management
- 5 years of experience minimum required, 6 preferred, in the security industry or 2 years of design consulting experience
- Advanced knowledge and experience with physical security aspects of building construction
- Advanced knowledge and experience with IT-based security management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% with overnight stays
