About the role
- Prepare various exhibits, presentation graphics and renderings
- Prepare schematic landscape design and planting plans, and tree preservation plans
- Complete site visits and tree assessments
- Assist with the preparation of construction documents, details and specifications
- Attend project meetings with senior staff
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, or equivalent required
- 3+ years of relevant office design experience in land development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp
- Experience with LandFX, Lumion and Illustrator are an asset
- Good graphic and rendering skills
- Local plant knowledge and some familiarity with site construction are an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills to manage priorities and deadlines
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
