About the role

  • Lead the implementation of IMEG’s brand strategy and positioning across all markets, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and alignment with IMEG’s purpose and value proposition
  • Oversee traditional marketing functions including campaigns, visibility initiatives, corporate announcements, and public relations outreach
  • Direct market sector and service line content development, including thought leadership, case studies, market insights, videos, articles, and digital storytelling
  • Manage the accuracy, quality, and strategic relevance of IMEG’s national qualification content library in close collaboration with the Director of Proposal Operations
  • Collaborate on corporate internal communications, supporting alignment, culture-building, and executive messaging across the firm
  • Partner with National Market Sector Leaders to translate sector strategies into targeted brand messaging and thought leadership assets
  • Collaborate with Regional Business Development team and Client Executive led teams to support regional visibility, client outreach efforts, and consistent positioning in local markets
  • Provide strategic public relations and media direction, including story development, press coordination, and reputation management
  • Guide digital marketing direction, including web content strategy, social media alignment, and analytics-informed engagement
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team in marketing, communications, and content roles, fostering collaboration and high performance
  • Oversee Key performance Indicators, processes, and standards that drive quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across IMEG’s marketing and communication functions
  • Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer to ensure resource allocation, budgeting, and staffing align with firm growth priorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum stock ownership level of Associate Principal with a clear and focused path towards the Principal level required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field is required
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, or brand leadership in the Architecture Engineering and Construction industry strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead brand strategy, content development, public relations, and communication functions at scale
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, messaging, and executive communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, compelling brand narratives
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across a matrixed organization
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, organize, and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays.
