Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Manage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environments.
- Deploy, secure, and maintain Amazon EKS clusters and containerized workloads.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray, and related AWS observability tools.
- Partner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and network controls.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term reliability improvements.
- Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services, including services such as: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS ECR RDS, DynamoDB, S3 VPC, PrivateLink, Security Groups, NACLs
- Strong experience with AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance.
- Experience implementing observability and incident response workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
