About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
- Design, build, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Manage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environments.
- Deploy, secure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized workloads.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Partner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices , including identity, secrets management, and network controls.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term reliability improvements.
- Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure , including services such as: Azure App Services, Functions AKS, ACR Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts VNETs, Private Endpoints, Firewalls
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps , GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell , Bash , or Python .
- Hands‑on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance.
- Experience implementing observability and incident response workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑400, AZ‑305, etc.) are nice to have.
- Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systems.
- Background in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineering.
- Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
