Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, optimize, and maintain games using PixiJS
Work closely with designers and artists to bring high-quality animations, effects, and UI interactions to life
Optimize WebGL-based games for performance, memory usage, and cross-browser compatibility
Develop tools, frameworks, and reusable components to streamline development
Debug and resolve rendering issues, performance bottlenecks, and cross-platform inconsistencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in frontend/web development
3+ years of hands-on experience with PixiJS and WebGL
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience optimizing WebGL applications for performance and memory usage
Strong knowledge of game loops, physics engines, animations, and tweening
Experience with texture optimization, sprite batching, and particle systems
Experience debugging WebGL rendering issues using tools like Spector.js
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
