Key responsibilities & impact

Partners with the Executive Vice President to establish strategic direction, operational priorities, and performance objectives for the organization.
Leads the development and implementation of business processes that drive coding efficiency, improve productivity and quality, exceed client expectations, and achieve financial targets.
Provides oversight of domestic and global coding operations, including production coding, auditing, quality assurance, and client support services.
Accountable for client implementation, operational performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, and risk management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
RHIT certification; relevant coding credentials preferred
12-15 years management experience leading coding production organization along with abstracting in ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS/CPT, modifiers
Demonstrated leadership and effective communications at various levels required
Demonstrated success at multi-level and complex client engagements required.
Demonstrated computer and software skills required, including Google Workspace, encoder/grouper, and EHRs.
