Vice President, Platform Implementation

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own full lifecycle delivery from kickoff through go-live and stabilization—across all platform components (RCM, patient engagement, clinician workflow tools, VBC MSO services)
- Translate contractual scope into a sequenced, executable implementation roadmap with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Drive integration of multiple products into a unified operational workflow, not siloed deployments.
- Build and actively manage detailed project plans, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and weekly execution dashboards.
- Enforce timeline discipline and accountability across internal teams (product, engineering, ops) and external client stakeholders.
- Identify risks early and intervene decisively to unblock execution—this is a “fix it before it escalates” role.
- Serve as the central point of coordination across: Internal teams: product, engineering, data integration, operations, client success External stakeholders: client executives, clinical leadership, IT, revenue cycle teams
- Ensure alignment on data integrations (EHR, PM systems), workflow redesign, and operational readiness.
- Engage directly with executive sponsors (internal & client-side) to: Provide transparent progress updates
- Escalate and resolve critical risks
- Drive decision-making to maintain momentum
- Ensure successful workflow implementation, user training, and change management across clinical and administrative teams.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure post go-live performance stabilization and KPI tracking.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15 years of experience in implementation, program management, or operations roles within healthcare technology / services or health systems / medical groups
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi-workstream implementations (e.g., EHR, RCM platforms, care management, or enterprise SaaS deployments).
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional programs with significant integration dependencies (e.g., EHR/PM integrations, data migrations, workflow redesign).
- Experience working directly with provider organizations (health systems, MSOs, physician groups).
- Strong familiarity with: Revenue cycle operations (front, middle, back office)
- Clinical workflows and EHR ecosystems
- Value-based care models and/or MSO operations
- Experience implementing or rolling out large scale programs in healthcare IT or health systems or medical groups.
- Experience driving change management in clinical environments.
- Exposure to AI-enabled clinical or operational tools.
