About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build high-performance backend APIs and services (architecture and infrastructure)
Model data in PostgreSQL/Azure SQL with scalability in mind from the start
Write automated tests as part of delivery
Consider testability, observability, and security during design
Integrate with enterprise legacy systems without disrupting operations
Work with AI throughout planning, coding, testing, and debugging workflows
Communicate clearly and effectively in asynchronous workflows
Own commitments and raise issues early when blockers occur
Configure CI/CD workflows
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 4 years of proven experience working as a backend developer.
Advanced proficiency in Python OR C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).
Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or Azure SQL.
Familiarity with:
React / React Native
Next.js
PostgreSQL or Azure SQL
Docker / docker-compose
GitHub or GitLab
Automated testing
Claude Code
