About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services in accordance with the technical and architectural standards defined by the team
Write clean, organized, testable, and maintainable code
Participate in code reviews, receiving and incorporating feedback
Support the creation and maintenance of unit, integration, and other applicable tests
Use artificial intelligence tools and assisted development resources for analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, critically validating the results
Investigate bugs, failures, and unexpected behavior to understand their root causes
Use logs, metrics, and monitoring tools to analyze incidents
Explore hypotheses and different approaches to solve problems
Support the resolution of incidents and production issues
Work collaboratively with developers and other product teams
Participate in technical discussions, refinement sessions, and alignment meetings
Pursue continuous learning and share knowledge with the team
Participate in analyzing and breaking down requirements into technical tasks
Identify and communicate blockers, questions, and risks
Contribute to code improvements and refactoring
Support the documentation of workflows, features, and technical decisions
Collaborate on building solutions aligned with business needs, focusing on product quality, maintainability, and evolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in software development, preferably at the Junior to Mid-Level range
Approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in software development
Professional experience or relevant project experience with Node.js, Go, PHP, Rust, or a similar language
Knowledge of or interest in learning other languages and technologies, including Go, Node.js, PHP, and Rust
Understanding of APIs, services, and system integration concepts
Familiarity with Git and code version control processes
Knowledge of or experience with bug investigation and resolution
Understanding of automated testing and software development best practices
Interest in observability, log analysis, monitoring, and understanding how systems operate
Interest in using artificial intelligence tools to support the development process
Nice to have: experience with distributed systems or environments with a large number of services
Nice to have: experience with observability, logging, metrics, or monitoring tools
Nice to have: knowledge of more than one of the languages used in the environment
Nice to have: experience with automated testing and software quality practices
Nice to have: participation in personal projects, studies, or learning initiatives involving new languages and technologies
