About the role

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring reliability and performance of deliveries
  • Design and refine data models to support strategic analyses and management reporting
  • Build dashboards and reports in Power BI, applying best practices in modeling and DAX
  • Serve as the focal point for strategic BI projects, ensuring quality and consistency of metrics
  • Automate routines with Python and orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow
  • Integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and APIs)
  • Support the team in standardizing and documenting data solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions that deliver real value
  • Monitor data loads and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production solutions

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills (complex queries, tuning, modeling, and cross-database integration)
  • Solid experience with Power BI (DAX, tabular modeling, performance, security, and gateway)
  • Practical experience in Python for automation and data manipulation (pandas, requests, etc.)
  • Experience with multiple database systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Good understanding of version control (Git) and data governance best practices
  • Experience with Airflow for orchestration and monitoring of data pipelines is desirable
  • Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose for creating and managing isolated, reproducible environments
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark for distributed processing and handling large volumes of data
