Junior Academic Analyst — Data and Indicators

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and analyze academic indicators of the internship (clinical clerkship), including attendance, performance, and practical and theoretical assessments;
- Consolidate and interpret institutional data to support decision-making by the National Coordination;
- Monitor the implementation of the Internship Manual across different units, ensuring process standardization;
- Serve as a liaison between National Coordination, local coordinators, preceptors, and students;
- Support the implementation and use of institutional platforms (e.g., attendance and assessment recording systems);
- Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions and continuous improvement measures;
- Participate in the preparation, review, and update of institutional documents (manuals, regulations, workflows);
- Support evaluation processes, including organization of exams, OSCEs, and progress tests;
- Prepare management reports, technical opinions, and executive presentations;
- Track academic and administrative requests related to the internship, ensuring deadlines are met;
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education (MEC) guidelines and the National Curriculum Guidelines (DCNs);
- Contribute to the development of strategic projects aimed at enhancing the quality of medical training;
- Monitor student participation and performance in mandatory and complementary activities;
- Manage institutional communication related to the internship.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree;
- Postgraduate qualification is a plus;
- Experience analyzing and interpreting indicators;
- Experience in process management and standardization is desirable;
- Experience preparing technical reports and executive presentations;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of academic management systems and digital platforms is a plus;
- Experience monitoring student performance and managing attendance control;
- Strong organizational skills and data management experience (dashboards, indicators).
