About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyze academic indicators of the internship (clinical clerkship), including attendance, performance, and practical and theoretical assessments;
  • Consolidate and interpret institutional data to support decision-making by the National Coordination;
  • Monitor the implementation of the Internship Manual across different units, ensuring process standardization;
  • Serve as a liaison between National Coordination, local coordinators, preceptors, and students;
  • Support the implementation and use of institutional platforms (e.g., attendance and assessment recording systems);
  • Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions and continuous improvement measures;
  • Participate in the preparation, review, and update of institutional documents (manuals, regulations, workflows);
  • Support evaluation processes, including organization of exams, OSCEs, and progress tests;
  • Prepare management reports, technical opinions, and executive presentations;
  • Track academic and administrative requests related to the internship, ensuring deadlines are met;
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education (MEC) guidelines and the National Curriculum Guidelines (DCNs);
  • Contribute to the development of strategic projects aimed at enhancing the quality of medical training;
  • Monitor student participation and performance in mandatory and complementary activities;
  • Manage institutional communication related to the internship.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Postgraduate qualification is a plus;
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting indicators;
  • Experience in process management and standardization is desirable;
  • Experience preparing technical reports and executive presentations;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of academic management systems and digital platforms is a plus;
  • Experience monitoring student performance and managing attendance control;
  • Strong organizational skills and data management experience (dashboards, indicators).
