About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support higher education institutions (HEIs) in collecting information and preparing legal briefs and supporting materials to defend cases of interest to IDOMED, whether recurring or strategic;
Monitor and control cases and processes, ensuring status updates, deadlines and developments, as well as maintaining databases and internal controls;
Map legal and regulatory risks, supporting the area's technical decision-making;
Support the analysis and drafting of regulatory and legal documents;
Assist in compiling and responding to inquiries regarding education legislation;
Contribute to the standardization of documents and workflows related to the area's legal and regulatory demands.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent);
Membership/registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) desirable;
Previous experience in the education sector desirable;
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative attitude, and ability to work across different departments;
Ability to interpret and implement court decisions and normative acts (laws, decrees, ordinances, etc.);
Skill in analyzing and drafting legal and regulatory documents with clear, concise and technically sound writing;
Organizational skills and ability to monitor processes, including deadline management, status updates and information consolidation;
Postgraduate degree in the field is a plus.
