About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own significant projects end-to-end, from technical design through implementation and rollout
- Set technical direction across the healthcare data platform and member management solution
- Influence the culture and direction of the technical organization

Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Track record of owning substantial projects from design through delivery
- Proficiency in both Ruby and Rust
- Experience with Ruby on Rails APIs and Rust/Axum-based services
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining production APIs
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines
- Strong software development craft and consistently high-quality code
- Technical judgment and taste for effective use of AI-assisted development tools
- Ability to work in highly collaborative engineering teams
- Transparent, positive communication
- Familiarity with the American health insurance and healthcare ecosystem strongly preferred for U.S.-based candidates
