About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the company's corporate Safety, Environment, and Risk Management programs.
- Coordinate critical risk management and Process Safety initiatives (PSM/SEPRO).
- Ensure compliance with QSSMA standards and requirements across operations and partners.
- Serve as a technical reference for leadership and operational teams.
- Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations, and action plans.
- Monitor indicators (KPIs) and promote continuous improvement actions.
- Lead and develop the team, strengthening a culture of prevention and risk management.
- Lead the company's Safety, Environment, and Risk Management agenda across industrial units, logistics operations, and strategic partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Experience in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, and Risk Management in industrial settings.
- Experience in industrial operations, logistics, and management of service providers/contractors.
- Experience leading teams and interfacing with different organizational levels.
- Process Safety (PSM/SEPRO) experience is desirable.
- Experience in the chemical, petrochemical, fuels, lubricants, oil & gas sectors, or operations involving hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).
- Experience in programs to strengthen safety culture.
