About the role

  • Act as the technical reference for the team.
  • Ensure the quality and continuous evolution of developed solutions.
  • Lead architecture decisions, coding standards and software engineering best practices.
  • Support the team in solving complex problems.
  • Remove technical impediments and promote continuous learning.
  • Define and track metrics for code quality, performance and observability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience in Banks and Insurance companies.
  • Lead architecture decisions and coding standards.
  • Promote engineering best practices and support the team in resolving complex problems.
  • Mentor developers (junior, mid-level and senior).
  • Work in partnership with the Product Owner and other areas to align technical and business deliveries.
  • Define and monitor metrics for code quality, performance and observability.
  • Ensure adherence to CI/CD processes, versioning, code review and automated testing.
  • Solid experience (5+ years) developing systems with .NET Core / .NET 6+.
  • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Web API, Event-Driven Architecture and messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus, Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Proficient with REST APIs, contract design and system integration strategies.
  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably Azure).
  • Practical knowledge of observability, telemetry and monitoring.
  • Proficient with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational stores (Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, Redis).
  • Strong command of engineering principles: SOLID, Clean Code, TDD, DDD and modern architectural patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP or SAFe).
  • Technical English for reading and writing documentation.
