About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with Company personnel, manufacturers, suppliers, and representatives of gas materials, gas metering and gas service regulators to support and review for consideration new devices and standardize existing devices.
Planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient, cost-effective flow and storage of materials and in-process inventory to reduce the total life cycle costs.
Provides value-added information regarding market developments and supplier delivery capabilities.
Foster cooperation within and across Avangrid
Demonstrate the ability to provide a leadership role and be capable of filling in for the Logistics Supervisor
Review, inspect, verify, and maintain levels (Min/Max/Reorder point) of all required materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Knowledge of Gas Materials
Knowledge of Gas Regulator
Understanding of supply chain systems
Experience with gas line installations and troubleshooting in the field.
