About the role
- Execution of the Avangrid Asset Management initiative in the electric networks organization
- Point for decision making and navigation of projects through the Investment Planning process from inception through construction
- Research, development, continual refinement, and execution of an industry-leading asset planning strategy
- Ensuring that asset condition needs across Avangrid are identified, prioritized, and addressed
- Centralized oversight of the capital project portfolio ensuring proper vetting and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- 4-8 years of experience in T&S planning, design, operations, asset management or maintenance
- Theoretical Engineering knowledge: Planning, Operations and Engineering Design, Analytics, Modeling & Calculation
- Practical Engineering Experience/Application: Planning, Operations and Engineering Design, Construction
- Engineering documentation: Ability to adequately document and interpret engineering documentation
- Knowledge of Local, State and Federal Regulatory Standards and Requirements (NERC, NPCC, ISO, PUC, etc.)
