About the role
- Communicate the regulatory contract with the Licence business, translating the contract into data-driven targets and objectives.
- Support the licence planning and delivery teams in successful delivery of the Regulatory Contract.
- Influence stakeholders across all levels to ensure knowledge transfer and plan acceptance is achieved.
- Establish the key deliverables of the regulatory contract, and structure and communicate these with all relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and communicate a prioritised investment plan, covering short and long-term time horizons.
- Provide advice and guidance to other SPEN departments to ensure that contractual obligations are understood and managed effectively.
- Facilitate investment paper approvals to ensure in line with Regulatory allowance.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant subject such as Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar qualifications such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Interest in energy regulation, infrastructure investment, and commercial strategy.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SAP.
- Understanding of the UK regulatory framework, ability to drive value/opportunities and minimise regulatory risk.
