About the role
- Work with Company personnel, manufacturers, suppliers, and representatives of gas materials, gas metering and gas service regulators to support and review for consideration new devices and standardize existing devices.
- Planning, implementing, and controlling the efficient, cost-effective flow and storage of materials and in-process inventory to reduce the total life cycle costs.
- Provides value-added information regarding market developments and supplier delivery capabilities.
- Review, inspect, verify, and maintain levels (Min/Max/Reorder point) of all required materials, tools, appliances, and other items.
- Lead investigations of new Gas metering technology.
- Support existing and implement enhancements to Gas Meter reading systems.
- Lead standardization efforts for Gas Meters, Regulators, and communication modules across operating companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Knowledge of Gas Materials
- Knowledge of Gas Regulator
- Understanding of supply chain systems
- Experience with gas line installations and troubleshooting in the field.
