About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure our products are safe, reliable, and ready for clinical use in radiation therapy.
  • Analyze and evaluate requirements for completeness, testability, and quality.
  • Develop test strategies, test concepts, and test plans for all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Design, create, and document manual and automated test cases for system and integration testing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation solutions and help shape future testing approaches.
  • Perform functional, non-functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Document, analyze, and track defects in collaboration with development teams through to successful resolution.
  • Work closely with international project teams and actively contribute to improving our products and processes.
  • Communicate test progress, quality metrics, and project risks to stakeholders.
  • Play an active role in the continuous improvement of our testing methods and quality processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in software testing, software development, or test automation is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong interest in software quality, medical technology, and technical problem-solving.
  • Ideally, some familiarity with programming language or test automation.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and modern development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of electronics, electrical engineering, or measurement technology is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • A strong willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to achieving shared goals.
  • Good written and spoken German B2 and English language C1.
