About the role

  • Perform asset mapping and inventory
  • Plan and execute vulnerability scans
  • Operate the Qualys tool
  • Prioritize risks based on criticality and exposure
  • Support mitigation processes for identified vulnerabilities
  • Interpret technical reports
  • Identify and validate false positives
  • Research new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  • Continuously update knowledge based on security best practices
  • Prepare technical and executive reports
  • Produce security indicators/metrics
  • Monitor mitigation plans with responsible areas
  • Interact with technical teams for support and alignment
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Work based on frameworks such as ISO 27001
  • Support initiatives related to LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law)
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in security policies and processes
  • Support activities using Microsoft SCCM
  • Query update collections
  • Monitor communication between endpoints and SCCM
  • Support analysis of deployment failures
  • Generate patch compliance reports

Requirements

  • Experience or basic knowledge in Vulnerability Management
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, OpenVAS, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of patch management
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SCCM
  • Basic experience creating or reading technical reports
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (in progress or completed)
