About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of clients in Ontario
  • Develop, manage, and strengthen long-term client relationships
  • Represent iA Financial Group at client retirement committee, annual, and employee meetings
  • Provide training on products, services, and available tools
  • Manage client expectations through clear, timely, and effective communication
  • Understand client needs and identify solutions aligned with objectives and service standards
  • Collaborate with the education team on communication plans
  • Identify opportunities to increase pension plan participation and member engagement
  • Inform clients about products, services, legislative developments, and other changes affecting pension programs
  • Partner with the Sales team on business development and finalist presentations
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of service models and strategies
  • Collaborate with other Client Relationship Managers through meetings and workshops to share knowledge and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Detailed knowledge of pension plans and strong technical expertise
  • Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and planning skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Highly organized and proactive; comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in client relationship management and working with consultants or advisors
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • University degree
  • At least five years of experience in financial services, financial planning, or customer service
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
  • Advanced level of French proficiency required
  • Canadian Securities Course credential, mutual fund licence, Certified Financial Planner designation, or life insurance licence is an asset
