About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead operations of the Internal Communications function, including internal communications advisors and the content integration centre
  • Optimize resource allocation, team delivery capacity, service quality and achievement of expected results
  • Coordinate the function’s components to ensure collaboration, consistent partner experience and efficient execution of organizational priorities
  • Mobilize, support, coach and develop employees; oversee recruitment, integration, performance evaluation and development
  • Plan, prioritize and allocate resources while maintaining visibility of priorities, workloads, deadlines and operational risks
  • Optimize collaboration across content advising, planning, drafting, integration and dissemination operations
  • Establish and monitor indicators for operational efficiency and service quality
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase operational fluidity, efficiency and predictability
  • Support advisors with communication strategies and plans and complex, sensitive and high-visibility issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of practices, processes, tools and work approaches
  • Collaborate with the Practice Lead and Director to strengthen the function
  • Translate field needs into concrete solutions and support adoption of new practices, tools and standards
  • Help evolve the use of artificial intelligence and new technologies to improve efficiency, deliverable quality and team capacity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in internal communications, organizational communications or strategic advisory services
  • Proven management, mobilization and development experience with professionals in expertise or advisory services
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years in a management role with direct employee supervision
  • Mobilizing leadership, political acumen and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage resources, capacity and operations in a complex, changing environment
  • Professional judgment, client focus and ability to navigate strategic or high-visibility portfolios
  • Interest in innovation, continuous improvement and integrating artificial intelligence into professional practices
  • University education in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and achievements
  • Intermediate English and advanced French
