About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain information, updates, and reports for procurement registries, including renewals, contract registers, and savings registers
  • Manage and process administrative requests from business partners, requestors, and suppliers
  • Support advisors and buyers with administrative tasks, including issuing purchase orders, resolving problematic invoices, and creating suppliers in the procurement system
  • Process orders for selected goods and services and follow up according to procurement directives
  • Support buyers with agreement implementation and maintenance of the S2P catalog
  • Conduct product and service research using available tools
  • Contribute to cost control, quality, timely delivery, and deadline adherence
  • Maintain professional relationships with supplier representatives in accordance with the Code of Ethics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing studies in administration or a related field, such as procurement
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive approach
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Analytical thinking abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate English proficiency for daily verbal and written communication with English-speaking colleagues or internal business partners across Canada and the United States
  • Excellent written and spoken French communication skills
