About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise the executive team on the sector’s financial, strategic, and operational priorities
- Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic plan, including growth, profitability, and financial optimization for the U.S. Life Insurance sector
- Initiate and lead value creation initiatives through financial engineering (reinsurance, capital optimization, accounting and actuarial methods, tax strategies)
- Ensure timely delivery of all financial reporting required by the CFO function
- Support the exploration of new strategic markets for the U.S. Life Insurance sector
- Implement strategies to maintain or improve ratings from rating agencies
- Lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary finance organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 or more years of experience in senior financial leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or a related field (MBA, FSA designation, or a master's degree is an asset)
- Advanced level of English proficiency
