About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the regional Mass Market business development team to meet/exceed the regional business plan.
- Responsible for relationship management and business development strategies for top 10-15 advisors.
- Collaborate with High Net Worth, Wealth and Strategic Relationships sales teams.
- Provide coaching and development to regional sales team members.
- Assist in developing Regional strategic sales plans and tactics promoting sales growth.
- Participate in the budgeting process for establishing revenue targets for the region.
- Establish performance standards/plans for each sales team member.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of ten (10) years of financial services experience, with a focus on insurance and segregated funds.
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in the insurance industry.
- Advanced product knowledge and experience with individual insurance and segregated funds.
- Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory environment.
- Experience attracting, recruiting and selecting independent advisors and staff.
- Experience working with multiple carrier wholesaling teams.
