About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the regional Mass Market business development team to meet/exceed the regional business plan.
  • Responsible for relationship management and business development strategies for top 10-15 advisors.
  • Collaborate with High Net Worth, Wealth and Strategic Relationships sales teams.
  • Provide coaching and development to regional sales team members.
  • Assist in developing Regional strategic sales plans and tactics promoting sales growth.
  • Participate in the budgeting process for establishing revenue targets for the region.
  • Establish performance standards/plans for each sales team member.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of financial services experience, with a focus on insurance and segregated funds.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in the insurance industry.
  • Advanced product knowledge and experience with individual insurance and segregated funds.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory environment.
  • Experience attracting, recruiting and selecting independent advisors and staff.
  • Experience working with multiple carrier wholesaling teams.
