About the role

  • Act as a strategic, operational, and tactical advisor to hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and adapt strategies
  • Collaborate with the designated Talent & Culture Business Partner to understand priorities and share information within the team
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies via social networks and candidate databases
  • Build and maintain pools of potential candidates with in-depth knowledge of the Canadian job market
  • Represent iA at networking events to increase employer brand awareness
  • Provide advice on best practices and mentor colleagues in Canada and the United States
  • Manage each stage of the recruitment process ensuring a positive experience for employees, candidates, and clients

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience
  • 5 to 8 years in advisory and recruitment roles
  • Advanced sourcing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a sustained workload
  • Experience working with performance indicators/recruitment metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in French (conduct interviews and lead presentations weekly)
  • Knowledge of the Canadian job market and the needs of the dedicated business line
  • Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies using social networks and candidate databases
  • Experience mentoring colleagues and advising hiring managers
