About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acting as a product expert and go-to resource for the group insurance product offering
- Analyzing market needs, trends, emerging issues, and regulatory changes
- Leading the development of products and business processes from ideation to market launch
- Reviewing and validating informational and promotional materials as well as communication tools
- Participating in meetings or presentations with clients, consultants, or intermediaries as a product expert
- Staying informed about market developments through research, meetings with vendors, webinars, and conferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Holds a university degree in business administration, finance, actuarial science, marketing, or a related field
- Has 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, primarily focused on group insurance products and services
- Experience in product development is considered an asset
- Has an advanced level of proficiency in English as the role requires regular communication with English- and French-speaking colleagues and internal partners across Canada.
