Senior Auditor, Information Technology

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform various IT audit engagements related to information technology, information systems and other relevant topics, following the established methodology.
- Assess IT general controls, IT internal controls and IT application controls associated with systems and applications.
- Actively participate in all stages of engagements, from defining objectives to planning, fieldwork and report writing.
- Establish and meet timelines in collaboration with the engagement team and management.
- Perform analyses and testing related to IT governance and internal controls, ensuring compliance with internal audit quality standards.
- Support follow-up on recommendations provided to audited areas and monitor major initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual internal audit plan for information technology.
- Provide coaching to less-experienced colleagues on audit techniques and methodology.
- Prepare and communicate audit results to management and the audit committee.
- Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders based on trust, collaboration and active listening.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) or a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering, business administration or another relevant field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in IT audit, technology risk management or a similar role.
- Recognized for analytical rigor and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Strong communication, influencing and simplification skills when interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy, excellent organizational skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Advanced proficiency in English, as the role will require drafting reports, analyzing technical documentation and regularly communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
