Business Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform primary business role function on projects to ensure business objectives are understood
- Analyze solution options to assess feasibility and operational impact
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements
- Support the development and implementation of changes through creation and modeling of process workflows
- Define and execute effective User Acceptance Test plans
- Facilitate project sponsor and stakeholder updates
- Engage in process reviews/redesign for opportunities to enhance service
- Assist with large scale data cleanup to support change initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the life insurance or financial services industry
- Progressive project-related experience
- Experience with industry tools such as Wealthserv, FundServ is an asset
- Working experience with Waterfall or Agile approach to change management
- Advanced ability to conduct research and gather information from various sources
- Proven attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Visio, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
