About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Calculate actuarial reserves and regulatory capital for individual savings and retirement products.
Analyze, explain, and simplify financial results, and provide recommendations to management to optimize financial performance.
Contribute to the optimization of the dynamic hedging program.
Produce financial projections related to budgeting and adverse scenario analyses, and recommend appropriate actions.
Participate in strategic initiatives supporting the execution of the business plan and maintaining iA's leadership position in the industry.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science.
Three (3) years or more of relevant actuarial experience.
Strong actuarial expertise with experience in individual savings and retirement products; experience with segregated funds is a significant asset.
Recognized for strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial results.
Ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
Rigor, positive energy, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
