About the role

  • Employee and partner approach management (85%)
  • Analyze, validate and respond to various requests from Canadian and U.S. employees or managers related to the Human Resources department (phone and email).
  • Provide personalized support to employees, retirees and other partners for administrative procedures related to life events.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders within VPTC.
  • Explain payroll, compensation and company benefits in clear, accessible terms.
  • Handle employee concerns and complaints; actively seek solutions while complying with and referring to company policies.
  • Participate in improvement and innovation (10%)
  • Support different HR teams and policies.
  • Be willing to self-reflect and challenge one’s work to influence work quality and team contribution.
  • Identify necessary updates to documentation based on process changes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recurring processes through suggestions and innovative ideas.
  • Show curiosity in using artificial intelligence to drive operational efficiency gains.
  • Maintain reference tools (5%)
  • Update our tools according to recurring changes (email templates, knowledge base).

Requirements

  • College diploma
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Workday (an asset)
