About the role
- Employee and partner approach management (85%)
- Analyze, validate and respond to various requests from Canadian and U.S. employees or managers related to the Human Resources department (phone and email).
- Provide personalized support to employees, retirees and other partners for administrative procedures related to life events.
- Communicate with various stakeholders within VPTC.
- Explain payroll, compensation and company benefits in clear, accessible terms.
- Handle employee concerns and complaints; actively seek solutions while complying with and referring to company policies.
- Participate in improvement and innovation (10%)
- Support different HR teams and policies.
- Be willing to self-reflect and challenge one’s work to influence work quality and team contribution.
- Identify necessary updates to documentation based on process changes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recurring processes through suggestions and innovative ideas.
- Show curiosity in using artificial intelligence to drive operational efficiency gains.
- Maintain reference tools (5%)
- Update our tools according to recurring changes (email templates, knowledge base).
Requirements
- High level of professionalism and autonomy

- Attention to quality and a proactive mindset
- Commitment to confidentiality
- College diploma
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Workday (an asset)
- Advanced level of English
