About the role
- Analyze and process medical and dental expense reimbursement claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Gather the information required to process a claim and make the decision to accept or deny it according to the contract terms.
- Verify and validate submitted documents, confirm providers' identities, and implement necessary controls.
- Communicate with members and providers to obtain missing information, meeting established deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute proactively to their enhancement.
Requirements
- Recognized for strong analytical skills and sound judgment;
- Distinguishes themselves through excellent customer service;
- Demonstrates a strong ability to work under pressure;
- Comfortable adapting to changes in IT systems;
- Ideally holds college-level training in pharmaceutical, medical, or dental fields;
- Has experience in medical and dental claims payment processing;
- Advanced proficiency in the English language.
