About the role
- Coordination of type approval-related activities with internal development departments and with technical services
- Interpretation of legal requirements relevant to vehicle type approval
- Monitoring new type approval provisions and their updates
- Preparation for and participation in type approval tests
- Technical consultancy in the field of CoP
- Coordination of ISC/ISV-related activities with internal departments
- Close cooperation with HMETC departments, our regional headquarters and our R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea)
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Experience in homologation, type approval or vehicle regulations
- Experience interpreting vehicle regulations
- Analytical working style and interdisciplinary thinking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Good command of English
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Excel
