About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support internal Product and Business teams in connecting their data to the central Data Platform
Assist with the integration of new data sources
Support migrations to the AWS-based platform
Set up data access and infrastructure components, such as IAM roles, Lake Formation, Airflow connections, and secrets
Validate data quality and consistency between source systems and the Data Platform
Contribute to improving the Developer Experience, for example through AI-assisted development tools and local development environments
Promote knowledge sharing and support the development of data expertise across the organization
Develop into a point of contact for data-driven questions and topics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Initial practical experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Platforms, gained through professional experience, working student roles, internships, or personal projects
Basic understanding of data modeling and data structuring
Basic knowledge of SQL
Initial exposure to dbt, Airflow, and Git
Interest in cloud technologies
Basic understanding of data access as well as role and permission concepts is desirable
Strong communication skills
Interest in agile ways of working
Initiative and willingness to learn
Willingness to take on responsibility and continue developing professionally
No specific educational background or degree is explicitly required
