About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to shaping solutions from clarifying requirements and defining the technical concept through to implementation
Develop and operate cloud-native, serverless, and scalable applications using Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus) and AWS
Take end-to-end responsibility for services, including development, operations, and quality
Apply Test-Driven Development and ensure clean, maintainable, secure, and reliably scalable code
Familiarize yourself with existing architectures and reliably operate and further develop products for property valuation, expert appraisals, and the digital retrieval of documents
Contribute to frontend development with Angular and TypeScript as needed
Use AI to support coding or testing while retaining responsibility for quality and architecture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in fullstack development with Java
Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS)
Test-driven approach, Clean Code, and a focus on security, maintainability, and documentation
Willingness to take responsibility for code as well as technical and functional decisions within the team
Self-organization, drive, and motivation to move things forward
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to continuous development
Fluent German language skills, as German is the team language
Experience with Angular or Quarkus is a plus but not required
