About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, development and scaling of our core systems (C#/.NET, MS SQL) toward resilient, containerized services on Linux/Kubernetes.
Targeted reduction of internal technical complexity and strengthening of stability, resilience and maintainability to increase long-term productivity.
Make well-founded architecture and platform decisions and advance technical standards (modularization, interfaces, security, Infrastructure as Code).
Provide technical support to Product Managers during discovery and prioritization processes and explain complex technical topics in an understandable way.
Expand and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and establish clean code practices, code reviews and automated tests (unit & system tests) with a clear shift-left mindset.
Increase development velocity (time-to-market) through measurably shorter development cycles, more frequent and reliable deployments — aiming to be able to release to production at any time.
Responsible knowledge management and systematic transfer of know-how within the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience integrating new technologies and digital solutions to strengthen processes and competitiveness.
Solid understanding of the capabilities and limitations of AI in a business context.
Several years of experience with C#/.NET or comparable programming languages as well as experience in leading developers technically.
Confident handling of scalable database systems (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and modern backend architectures (modular services).
Ideally experience with Angular (v15+) and RabbitMQ.
Practical experience with Docker/Kubernetes, fully automated deployments and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
Routine working with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated tests (unit & system tests).
Openness to new technologies.
Strong English skills (at least C1) and German skills (at least B2).
