About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You develop and operate backend applications based on C# and .NET within a primarily Microsoft-based tech stack (including Windows Server, MS SQL).
- You implement new features and evolve existing applications — from requirements analysis through implementation to operation.
- You work closely with product managers and stakeholders, challenge requirements, and contribute your own technical solutions.
- You are part of an agile team (Scrum, with a tendency toward Kanban) and actively shape the development process.
- You ensure software quality through testing, code reviews and clean architectures.
- You support the building and further development of the engineering team and contribute as a sparring partner or technical driver.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of C# / .NET
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and API interfaces.
- A solid understanding of software architecture, clean code, maintainability, performance and security.
- Experience with agile development processes and enthusiasm for cross-team collaboration.
- Willingness to treat testing as an integral part of your development work (unit, integration, E2E tests).
- Very good English skills (at least C1) and good German skills (at least B2).
- Desire to take responsibility, share knowledge and help shape technical standards.
