About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and operate backend applications based on C# and .NET
Contribute to the migration from the Microsoft stack, including Windows Server and MS SQL, to Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
Collaborate with product managers, business teams, and stakeholders
Develop technical solutions for complex business requirements
Implement new features and continuously enhance existing applications
Support the development process from requirements analysis and implementation through to operations
Challenge requirements and contribute your own ideas to further product development
Consider the interdependencies between business and technology and find pragmatic solutions
Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and sustainable architectural decisions
Contribute your experience to the team and support colleagues as a sparring partner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of recent experience developing web applications with C#/.NET
Very strong knowledge of C#/.NET, relational databases (e.g., MS SQL), and APIs
Experience in product-focused development environments with complex business requirements
Understanding of software architecture, Clean Code, maintainability, performance, and security
Experience with agile development methodologies
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing
Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level)
Excellent written and spoken German (minimum C1 level)
Willingness to take responsibility and proactively contribute your own ideas
Self-motivated and proactive approach to continuous development
Willingness to actively develop expertise in the use of AI
