About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for data center infrastructure, including switchboards, switchgear, PDUs, modular power pods, RPPs, backup power systems, and monitoring systems
Develop, review, and maintain single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and specifications
Ensure designs meet customer requirements, industry standards, and best practices
Support new product development initiatives with a focus on modular, scalable, and manufacturable designs
Create and execute electrical test protocols, commissioning plans, and validation testing
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and meet business objectives
Provide technical support across design, manufacturing, installation, and operational phases

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of experience in electrical design of power distribution equipment (e.g., switchboards, switchgear, PDUs)
Strong knowledge of electrical standards including UL891, UL1062, UL1008, UL1558, NEC, and IEC
Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar
Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems (up to 38kV)
Electrical testing and commissioning experience
Ability to travel up to 25–30%
