About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing and developing electrical control systems for low- and medium-voltage power equipment
Creating control schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and I/O documentation
Specifying and programming PLCs, HMIs, relays, sensors, and communication devices
Ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and performance requirements
Leading troubleshooting and resolution of system-level control issues during manufacturing and in the field
Supporting factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and commissioning activities
Driving standardization of control architectures and reusable design components
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering in industrial or manufacturing environments
Experience with data center infrastructure, power distribution equipment, or similar systems
Hands-on experience with low- to medium-voltage power systems
Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, BACnet, CAN, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, codes, and standards
Experience supporting UL-regulated products and certification processes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
