About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Designing and developing electrical control systems for low- and medium-voltage power equipment
  • Creating control schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and I/O documentation
  • Specifying and programming PLCs, HMIs, relays, sensors, and communication devices
  • Ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and performance requirements
  • Leading troubleshooting and resolution of system-level control issues during manufacturing and in the field
  • Supporting factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and commissioning activities
  • Driving standardization of control architectures and reusable design components
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Experience with data center infrastructure, power distribution equipment, or similar systems
  • Hands-on experience with low- to medium-voltage power systems
  • Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, BACnet, CAN, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, codes, and standards
  • Experience supporting UL-regulated products and certification processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
