Execute purchase orders based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels
Source and purchase raw materials, components, and strategic commodities to support production requirements
Identify and evaluate suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery (OTD), and drive corrective actions for late or past-due orders
Proactively manage shortages and supplier delays to minimize manufacturing impact
Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, quality, and cost efficiency
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity and reliability
Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory
Perform regular cycle counts at manufacturing partner locations to ensure inventory accuracy
Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Optimize inventory turnover and storage efficiency using data-driven analysis

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations
Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in inventory optimization
Effective communication and negotiation skills for supplier interaction
Ability to travel as needed for supplier visits and partner meetings
