About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to the Northeast region, Compliance Advisors, and Client Service teams for compliance-related client documents and deliverables
- Develop client-specific compliance documents, including wrap documents, Section 125 plan documents, and HIPAA binders
- Gather information and assist with drafting Summaries of Material Modifications (SMMs)
- Liaise between clients and vendors to obtain or verify information supporting Form 5500 filings
- Collaborate with regional peers on complex compliance requirements, vendor data collection, and related support
- Build knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements through legislative update calls
- Maintain compliance documentation for assigned clients in Hylant’s agency management systems
- Draft compliance-related client communications for delivery by service teams
- Build relationships with internal service teams and stakeholders through communication and progress updates
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two or more years of experience in Employee Benefits or Human Resources preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Active Life & Health License, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing
- Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
